Class Co-Ordinators 2011

Classroom Coordinator - This will probably be your first communication with the PTA. Our role covers welcoming new families to the school community, both new families at the Side School and new families in other parts of the school who may be new to Wellington or even New Zealand. Classroom Coordinators are a good source of information and are only too glad to help, so please contact them if you are unsure about anything. You should be contacted by your Class Coordinator shortly but their details can be found in the school directory shown by an *, anzd on our website.

The Classroom Coordinators:
• Send PTA emails and notices to the class.
• Organise an event for parents and /or families each term. It may be a coffee morning, ice blocks after school, a drink in the evening.
• Find volunteers for school activities such as working bees, fundraisers, library book mending, baking and other school initiatives
• Are the contact point for the class if the school wants to implement schemes like the telephone tree or emergency food supplies.
